Re: radios that work
Just finished up a G E 1941 tabletop radio. Had opened it up two or three times in the last year with no luck. It was dead but smoking! But as I learn more and more I go back to ones I couldn't fix and try again. This time I succeeded. I always get a rush when I fire it up and it works. Now I'm starting a Zenith that has a volume problem. Works great just can't turn it down. Think I've learned enough to fix the volume switch. I just can't stand it if they don't work and I have plenty to work on.
