Majestic Radio Record Player
I bought a buch of old radios and this was in the mix. I've looked all over the cabinet and can not find a model number. It looks like an AM radio with a record player and tape recorder. does anyone know anything about this model and maybe value. I haven't tested it yet and not sure how to use the tapr recorder.
Thanks
Bob

Re: Majestic Radio Record Player
WOW with a wire recorder no less!!!!
most radios didn't have tape recorders. Those that did were in the era of 50-57 or so. Are the tubes minature or octal? Sears has a similar one look at this web page about pages 140-147

That's a late 40's set. Nice piece of equipment.
Warning, sometimes the wire head opens, causing a loud squeel in sound.

Re: Majestic Radio Record Player
E bay sometimes sells spools of recording wire. Not just any wire can be used. It uses special thin strong stainless steel recording wire.
