New member with new acquisition.
Hello everyone.
My name is Christian and I recently purchased a Silvertone high fidelity radio and phonograph player. The model is a 528.34900. The electric restoration is underway. I need to begin cleaning and lubing all necessary parts to get the automatic function working correctly. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? My terminology is very basic fir parts identification, but I have lubed the motor bushings and cleaned the idler wheel. I added a drop of oil to the idle wheel shaft. The mechanism that moves the tone arm and senses the record size is a mystery to me on what to clean and lube. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
