Need help finding a suitable transformer replacement
Need help finding a suitable transformer replacement
I have a RCA 970445-5 (274105) that I dug out of a RC1096 unit. The current transformer has brittle cloth wiring and one of the wires snapped at the part where it comes out of the windings. I was wondering if a suitable substitute exists for this, or if it would be better to get it rewound. It is a 117v transformer (60hz) 25V (or 5v, the source paper was kinda damaged) @70ma, 5V @2A, 6.3V @2.2A

There are several RC1096 models in Rider Volume 21. Is yours like RCA RC1096 on Rider page 21-77
Most likely transformer is 250-0-250 @ 70ma
