1963 Magnavox Color TV Theater
I just wanted to share my Magnavox Color tv combo with you all. I drove from Richmond VA to New Jersey to pick this one up as i been wanting one of these for years. It had already been gone through, sport's a new flyback and is a remote set also. It has tambor sliding doors that cover the CRT when not in use. I fire it up on special occasions and enjoy it a lot. Here's some pictures of it taken by the previous owner. It now sits in my living room. The picture on the tv and the set itself is better in person. Those aren't hum bars in the last two photo's, they are artifact's from the camera.

Very nice. But how in the world did you find (or make) room for it?
In my former life, I was a product safety inspector, and visited Sanyo where they made CRT TVs. Early on in my career, consoles were still big. Sanyo had an entire humongous building dedicated to making the cabinets (wood and simulated wood, aka plastic). But within a few years, they migrated to all big and ugly black plastic because that's what the marketplace wanted. What a shame. Another reason why your "new" set is so nice!

I was offered that model by an old lady about twenty years ago. She wanted a lot of money. Wish I had bought it. Boy, was it a big sucker.
It still had the hand unit for remote control, as did a 21" BW Admiral she offered...
