Brain problem
Brain problem
Yesterday I was diagnosed with a brain infection. Possibly Myasthenia Gravis. I go to the neurologist on Friday. It really sucks. I'm dizzy and my right eyelid won't open all the way. I've spent the past 4 days on the couch, because I'm unsteady on my feet. The good part? It wasn't a stroke, which is what I thought.

Re: Brain problem
I hope you feel better soon, Terry! Just listen to the doctor and do what they say. Your in our thoughts and prayers.

Re: Brain problem
Several months back I had, once, again, suffered a cellulitis attack, this time infecting my leg, Infection quickly got into my blood, and, into my brain. A lot of antibiotics. I was told I was a mad man, yelling and, screaming.

Re: Brain problem
Okay, apparently my brain is the same as usual, whatever that means. The best theory is that I had a regular virus, which exhibited symptoms just like a neurological event. It lasted almost a month and prostrated me. I spent most of the time on the couch. It broke Christmas eve. I could tell instantly because the fogginess disappeared. I have no symptoms, which is so good. However, I am still tired. I guess it took a lot out of me. So, everything is good. Hint: Don't get this.

Re: Brain problem
Good news over here, too. It does take a lot out of you. Trust me..... Every time I had to go to hospital with cellulitis attack, I had to spend a month in the nursing home recovering the anti-biotics used to overcome the attack.
I hope this doesn't happen again for a very long time. Like the rest of my life....????

Re: Brain problem
That's some scary stuff you're dealing with. I often wonder how we come into contact with things like that (and more specifically how we avoid doing so). All the same, I'm glad you are on the road to recovery and pray that you do not suffer a relapse.
