loop antenna
I have a Crosley Model 56TX-L that is supposed to have a loop antenna back, but mine has none, just the wires coming out of the chassis.
Can I just hook this up to a one wire extern antenna or must I do it some other way to pick up stations?

Re: loop antenna
You can try to hook it up that way but you may have to tweak the alignment a little to get the best results. You will find that one antenna wire on your Crosley is the one that picks up the signal where the other you wont notice any difference. Do not tie the two antenna wires together or you will ground it out and pick up nothing. Of course your best bet is to find another loop antenna and align your radio to it.
