McMurdo Silver 15-17
I recently ran across a McMurdo Silver 15-17 for sale and know nothing about this brand except that it is quite expensive by my standards. The set is in excellent shape cosmedicaly and is complete except for four tube shields. Since everything on this chassis is chrome plated I fear these missing shields would come very dear, if at all. Please chime in if you know anything about this set. Regards, Ed.

I don't know a lot about them except that they are fairly expensive buy and fairly expensive to restore. My guess is that you would want one as complete as possible. I'd also guess that replacement parts would be scarce and spendy, but I don't know that.

McMurdo Silver was E.H. Scott's arch rival in the high end custom radio business.
