Whitey Morgan and the 78's
I ran across this band while viewing a video of old car wrecks. This band is typical of the honky tonk bands similar to Waylon Jennings and David Alan Coe. It is a pretty good outfit, with talented musicians. I might see if I can find more of his material. I like the sound.

Keep putting up your finds, I know there are some silent types that share your tastes. And sometimes you get them to post, too.

Re: Whitey Morgan and the 78's
I was looking for a picture of a 1923 Buick for some research I'm doing. A Google search led me to a website, that led me to YouTube, which led me to the classic car wreck video. Apparently, there is a 1923 Buick in that video, but you could not prove that by me. That's where I ran across the Whitey Morgan music. Funny what you can find in a Google search. I have no idea why I like the truck stop/biker bar sound, but I always have. Anybody remember Doctor Hook and the Medicine Show?
