....but I can't find out when or where. Rolling Eyes

Cox Cable has informed me that "starting in March sometime" their old analog cable TV signal will be going digital. I have been informed that I will "need a box" for my old CRT TV sets to work. Apparently, my 1996 RCA with its electronic tuner will work just fine still. Older sets with a 13 channel tuner will only be able to receive channels up to 13 on the new setup. I have sneakers older than the technician who informed me of this, so he has no idea of how I make an old TV with 13 channels work above Channel 13. I have a couple of those RCA digital to analog converter boxes that are used to let older sets work with digital OTA signals. My question is will these converter boxes work to allow older TV's to work with digital cable?

Thank you, Bill. I was hoping that was the case. I can pick those converter boxes up at thrift stores for practically free. Nobody wants or needs one unless they have an older TV.

Farm auctions are a good place to find them. The biggest problem is the remotes are frequently missing. I have three or four, and I may try to find more.

Most Big Lots stores carry 1 or 2 remotes that can be programmed to whatever item you want to control. You get 1 or 2 and keep them around and reset them as you need to.
