Re: A Cheney phonograph
Cheney made many phonographs during the twenties,. Advertised themselves as being the best sounding victrolas of the era. In reality, they sounded alright, but, not great. However, they did have some very nice motors, and, many of their cabinets were of high quality, including a Queen Anne style upright I once had. It was gorgeous. I think that's a good deal on that machine. If I could, I'd buy it.
Enjoy..
Enjoy..

There was one on CL Atlanta for a long time. It had that hexagonal cast tonearm broken. The unit looked like a million bucks otherwise.

I saw that and thought of you, Bill. I am strictly an electric phonograph man.
