There is no way I can answer that one! I'm way to much of a newbie. I only discovered "Old Time Country" about a year ago when I decided to take a break from Channel 6 (60s on 6) on XM and decided to listen to Channel 56 (Willie's Road House). I'm still discovering "new" artists from 50 years ago!

My favorite is "I Know One."

Trivia: This song was written by "Cowboy" Jack Clement. It was recorded by Charley Pride in 1969. It was also recorded by Jim Reeves, in 1963.

Another good Charley Pride song is "Let The Chips Fall." The words "the life I'm living is just half a life. The woman I married is just half a wife" have to be unique in any music genre.
