Over time, I have owned every Newcomb transcription model manufactured. For many years, I serviced them as well. I currently have a TRS-1680 and a T-50. In my opinion, the quality and durability can not be beat. Please take a look at the page I developed for this type equipment. Pictures are taken from the internet when available. http://kjq.us.com/newcombtranscription.html When time allows, I may be able to fill in some of the Newcomb gaps; there were many. Robert Newcomb was sort of a mystery himself.

I also need one for my best TR-25AM.
