It won't be long before police chases will be things of the past. There will be the "magic button" in the police helicopter that will shut down the powertrain in the chased vehicle. I am surprised that this is not already happening. "Bailing" out of a car will be no longer possible, cause the cops will also be able to lock the doors. I love watching videos of idiots being chased by the cops. It never turns out well for them. Chases are incredibly dangerous.
