Bill Cosby Sings? Empty Bill Cosby Sings?

Yepper, Bill Cosby sings. I did not know that. I found a Bill Cosby record "Silver Throat, Bill Cosby Sings" from 1967. Warner Bros. WS 1709. In Stereo. I have several of his comedy albums, but this was a new one on me. Not bad, either. If you didn't know it was Bill Cosby, you would never guess it.

I remember he "sang" the theme to his first TV series. His performance for that, to my ear, placed him in the same league as William Shatner, Lorne Greene and John Wayne. He must have done better for his records.
