Re: Frank Bank RIP
It was the only show that had kids around my age that my parents wouldn't say "I wish you could be more like those children." They did a good job of getting in trouble.

Re: Frank Bank RIP
That may be all well and good. The thing about that show was that, although the Beav and Wally got into trouble, they knew that there would be consequences, knew the difference between right and wrong, and knew in their hearts that they could come to their parents with anything and that the outcome would be okay. And that they were loved unconditionally. That seems to be missing nowadays, certainly on TV shows.

Many folks try to dismiss LITB as a stereotypical and puerile program, but look at the "reality" programs the same people try to suck entertainment from now. The programs unfortunately suck back.

Re: Frank Bank RIP
There was a movie called Pleasantville with Tobey Mcguire I think which had perfectly cut lawns and streets with no pot holes and no trash!! What a shame we could not aspire to make things even a bit close to that movie. That old Indian Chief Iron horse Cody is most likely rolling over in his grave...

I think you might be referring to Iron Eyes Cody, the actor that shed a tear after a parcel of trash was thrown at his feet in a TV PSA. Here is some interesting info about him.
