Stromberg Carlson Model 430M
I found a Stromberg Carlson 430M today.
http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/stromberg_430m.html
The tag read $185 and the guy asked me for $100. I believe it should only be $50 or $60 at the most.
It's complete and in fairly good condition. Thye cabinet is not peeling by is in need of refinishing. Most of the pastics are in good shape too.

Larry,
I'd say $40 to $50. S-C made some well built radios, but like many, there's nothing really special about this model. Simple AM/SW with pushbuttons-- when you get right down to it. Especially if it needs refinish, there's no need to shell out big bucks.
Do what makes ya happy

Looks like a job for the card and the offer.

I think I'm going to pass, I have a beautiful Philco 41-256. One large floor model radio is enough for me.

I know the feeling, I'm trying to resist this: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/atq/3718161222.html And keep going with the ones I have.
