Back To The Bench Empty Back To The Bench

Post by 75X11 on Sat Mar 16, 2013 9:54 pm

Started on my Philco 42-355 today. A few years ago I made an investment in a box of 1/8" shrink tubing. It is coming in mighty handy! Just ordered new escutcheon, knobs, support grommets and chassis feet. The old thing is just dusty and otherwise clean. It did work during a brief start up when I first got it on the variable xfmr. It took 6 hours to find the right place to quit today.

Just got my parts in yesterday, pretty fast! It'll be a rainy weekend, so I will get some more done.
