RIP Patty Page
RIP Patty Page
Another great voice has passed. Stunningly beautiful too. Listen to this and tell me it's not the voice of an angel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ek3eCbfqp0

Re: RIP Patty Page
Thankfully we won't have to trust our failing memories to remember her beautiful voice. Recorded sound is one of those little miracles we take for granted. She will be able to touch people years from now.

I have a few 45rpm's in my collection of her . One christmas i think around 1963 ish i got her 45 of ''doggy in the window'' The player we had was pretty old with a heavy arm . I played the record till i could hardly hear it anymore because i wore the grooves clean out of that record .
