Ham Radio Empty Ham Radio

Post by Motorola man on Sat Sep 29, 2012 10:16 pm

A very good friend of mine, who is an avid ham radio operator, is in the hospital, recovering from back surgery. I had to get a gift for him and could think of no better way to wish him a speedy recovery than to give him a new ham radio. Since a vintage Hallicrafters is a bit out of the budget right now, I decided to rummage through my spare parts and build one from scratch... here is the final product.
