Philco 38-7F completed
Philco 38-7F completed
The Philco 38-7F is complete and went fairly well all along the rebuild. No major issues so it was cleanup the chassis, replace the caps, repair one small crack in the speaker, light sanding on the case and spray on some lacquer. One of the most exciting parts of the this radio is the rear cover was still there.

Re: Philco 38-7F completed
Thanks Toni and Bill....unfortunately I thought I had taken the finish view of the chassis but had not. The chassis is mounted in the case and the back is on so no pix. I have lots of before pix but but what go is that. I would have sworn I took some but I have either miss filed them, deleted them or (more likely) had a senior moment and forgot. If I find them I will post.Time to finish the Crosley 515 I've been working on (off and on) for a few months.
