SOLVED Volume and power switch for an RCA T-64 help
I have two t-64's the good one im fixing has a scratchy volume control onit so i put the one from the other in it it was sligly different but when i hooked up the leads to where i thought they should go the volume is all the way up when i first click it on and as i turn it away from the off position it grows lower. What did I do wrong and how should i fix it?

Go back to original control, and, get some prper control cleanner, and, use it. That will solve the entire problem.
Deoxit, might help. I use a cleanner from Radio Shack.
Don't use cleanners that clean out carbon.
