matching up a radio manufacturers part# to an o.e parts #
hello
i hope someone can help as this seems like an impossible task.
i have a hammarlund receiver. the meter is missing. the original meter is a simpson (i can tell from a picture of an original)
the hammarluind manual gives a part number for the meter (but it is a hammarlund part number)
is there any way that i can match up the hammarlund part number to the original simpson ?
i get the feeling that it will be next to impossible as hammarlund is log gone and so: i assume are all of their original records.
i would appreciate any help or ideas anyone can think of.
thanks very much

Try entering the name Hammarlund and its part number in google. There are Hammarlund oriented sites too.
