I love RADIOS!

Post by Raymanretro on Sun Mar 07, 2010 2:57 pm

Hi Bill, Thanks for a great website. Antiqueradios is a great site, but you have more specific catagories that I think is more user friendly. Do you have a blog or webpage that shows some of your sets? I would love to see more! Very Happy

Sorry, guys. I moved this from the radio forums, but, even though I put a check on leaving a shadow, it didn't. Another glitch.

Yes, I do, but, I lost the link. When I find it, I'll post it for you. Thanks very much.

Actually, Oldsmobile man started the site. He turned it over to me, and, I added to it.

Nice collection, Bill! I was especially intrested in the 6T74 rca. I remember when you got it on Antique radios and postrd a pic of my 6T76 cabinet and was looking foward to seeing yours, and it is a beauty. Too bad they dont make them that nice today! Very Happy

Thanks. I still haven't worked on it to get the last bugs out of it.
I have been busy cleanning house, the garage, etc..., and, have been very busy.
I hope soon to get back on it, and, find the last most pressing problems.
The vertical was shrinking on the bottom, and, vertical kept rolling up fast, with no way to stop it.
I have short horizontal on both sides, and, slight fold over in middle of picture.
I suspect one of my new Chhinese electrolytics is failing...
I'll keep you informed both at ARF, and, here, on progress..
