today was not my day i burned out the fillaments on 4 b.b.t. 99 tubes I AM REALLY MAD AT MYSELF FOR BEING SO STUPID.

don,t feel stupid just look at it as a learning thing. blow a electrolytic cap then you,ll feel scared & stupid affraid

YOU GOT IT I FORGOT TO CHANGE THE FILL. VOLTAGE ON MY POWER SUPPLY FROM 5 VOLTS TO 3 VOLTS 2 TIMES IN A ROLL.

Be cautious when subbing same type tubes with another, as some voltages on the filaments aren't always the same, some may require 1/4 to 1/2 volt lower or higher.

Just because of the design.

I don't see how changing a tube could cause a capacitor to blow.
Maybe if the fil. was burned out......

I have a national regenaformer that i made a long time ago it still works it uses 99 tubes.
