'Beachboy' radios

Post by btse6 on Fri Oct 15, 2010 7:42 pm

Anyone know for sure who marketed those 'Beachboy' radios that came in several colors, and when? Even though they have ICs in them, there are also a couple of discrete transistors on the circuit board. Was it Radio Shack in the '90s?

I keep seeing them as new on ebay and have all suspicion that they might still be making them. I have a PHILCO one tucked away in a box for posterity Smile
