Where are the brains????

True story, but unbelievable. I am at a jobsite working on a project when I get a call from the boss. You need to go to Acme bomb company, AKA customer, to get them running, had a power failure and now nothing works. I explained to my current customer that I have a client down and need to leave right away. I drove 200 miles and got to the PC that runs the process, with the client supervisor behind me, I looked at the PC and asked what was wrong, he told me nothing works. I double clicked on the Icon that read #### process and everything worked. I hear OH is that all I have to do to start this????? To bad the user manual I wrote even has a screen shot and what to click on to start the process programming. I wonder if somebody will catch this in my billing. 400 miles, travel time, hotel cost, meals, Per Diem, and last but not least 5 minutes on site service????? If somebody would have told me this I might not have beleived it, but I just lived it!!!

I got a frantic call from the theatre I service that the projector lamp would not light. I only live about 10 mins away so I drop everything run down there walk into the booth over to the braker panel and flip the lamp power supply on. Click the projector lamp switch and Hmm it works. I had asked them over the phone if all the breakers were on. "yes we turned them on" Well they missed one.

Sounds like 1 breaker short of a full load!
