ARF Verses TRF

Post by Stan Ski on Tue Oct 12, 2010 7:05 pm

Have been a member of ARF for more then a few years. My question is why is the ARF any better then this site (TRF) Seems to me the people a basically the same. Also i have never seen this site have any problems as far as a hosting company playing games or did ARF get to big? Just questions

ARF has been around longer and was pretty well established when this forum came on line. I do think If this forum had the volume of ARF it would be yanked because it is free and I am sure after a certain bandwidth usage and storage usage it gets shut down.

Really the only thing that makes ARF better is it has far more members, and posters on a daily basis.

The idea has NEVER been Us vs. THEM.
While I decided to keep it going as a forum, and, not close it down, and, still welcome people to join, and, post here, and, do want to see us grow, this forum was originally intended as a lifeboat when ARF was down. That is also still wanted here. Only difference, as I said, is I want more members, and, hope for more contributions to the forum, especially written. Occasionally, financial would help to buy us extra web space, as well.
Thanks for all you guys do.
