That is the Echophone EC-3 with matching speaker.
These were some of the last radios produced before war time needs shut down production. If you notice, the radio has a chrome strip on it and the speaker does not. I've seen other photos on the net with no chrome strips on either. The owners manual I got with this radio shows a photo of both speaker and radio with chrome strips.

It looks right... Is that a side rule dial as well or is it for band spread or something as well?

It is one of the sharpest radios as far as boat anchors i've seen..

The bottom scale is for bandspread.

Hi Borg,
lol, another Trekkie I see hehe.
Yeah I bought a good camera from Best Buy and its working out nicely taking good crisp images.
If you look at my website:
http://home.earthlink.net/~chestnutl/
You will see a number of radio categories, I'm still working on it, but you should be able to pick out the pics shot with the older Kidak camera, VS the Newer Cannon unit.
The young saleman there gave me excellent advice on a camera to buy, it was a lot less than the camera I was thinking of buying. Very Happy
