Long Term Illness
Hi Everyone we have been absent for quite sometime but we have a long term illness that isnt getting any better i had told Bill cahill this the other day so we figured i would let everyone know why i was absent so much in the past year or two we have (COPD) from 30 yrs of smoking (Diabetes Mellitus Type I) were taking insulin shots 4x times daily were also on oxygen therapy at night for our difficulty breathing and we have Degenrative disk disease we take morphne 2x daily for our back pain so were quiting the radio hobby we ca no longer continue fixing radios for anyone and most the time dont feel like working on my own stuff i am going to enjoy what time i have left wether itt be 1 yr or 20 yrs god only knows.
i havent been on ARF in so long its ridiculous i have been at both here and arf in the past few days thinking about my friends and wandering if they ever wander what has become of me cause i sure have thought of all the great guys on both sites
in the next few weeks we will be selling off our parts as we no longer need to stock them i will keep a few basics for myself so watch the swap meet section for some great deals on parts also we will sell a few of our radios also
well guys i got to go im starting to feel bad sitting here on the pc
Best Regard's

Re: Long Term Illness
Man . What a rough time your having. Seems like anything a person likes is bad for them. Take all your problems and fears to the maker of all things he will take care of it.
Know one but yourself knows what your going through.
God bless you , and will pray for you. Peace of mind better than anything in this whole world.

Keep those legs dancing. Do not go quietly into that gentle night. Fight with every breath you have.
God bless you and keep you! You're in my prayers!

Re: Long Term Illness
Very sorry to hear of your troubles, RC. I too will be praying for you. I don't think much of ARF any more. Lots of nice folks there, mind you, but also too many selfish snobs that are too full of themselves. I don't bother posting there any more.

Re: Long Term Illness
This topic was moved as it's more about self and doesn't address Radios per say.
