There's a war over it at ARF. Don't get involved. It's being properly dealt with by mods, and, you needn't get involved.

I want arf is a little to know what i mean. I asked about a problem with a local distant switch. Some how a mod. got mad at another mod. I do not know what happend

I'm sure that most of the ARF folks are good, knowledgable people, but I've never had any luck over there. I think it's gotten too big for it's own good. Too many people chiming in that really don't know what they are talking about or they tend to get WAY off subject and go on a tangent. I guess I'm guilty of the getting off subject thing right now, but any hoo... That's what I like about this place and Philco Phorum, big enough to get your questions answered (correctly I might add), but not too big where you get information overload and random unrelated musings. A big thank you to all those who make this such a great place.

Know what you fellas mean. Some real good guys there, but also some....well, I won't be dispolite. Ever notice how many locked topics? But the Strat is a very expensive tho beautiful radio, not to diverge too far from the subject. This is the 1st. time I've been able to be logged in, and hence able to post in a looooong time.

I dunno, Bill. I've been away a long time. I hope I didn't give the impression that I felt the topics shouldn't have been locked, nor that I was bashing the moderators.

Sounded like someone was bashing my radio forums. Even so, the mods at ARF are trying hard. I don't know that anyone is locking good threads.
I know Burnt fingers is getting into trouble again.

Burnt Fingers? What else is new. I've been away two years, Bill, so I couldn't be bashing your forum. It seems certain people just can't behave themselves over on ARF. I mean you can say no politics all day long over there and some still just don't get it. Others make snide comments about other members, impuning their character. I hate to say it but they're like bickering children.

Anyways, ARF is still o.k., but, I think it's gotten a bit big for its' britches.

Didn't realize you were joking. That is funny at that. Yes, I agree, there are plenty of really first rate guys over on ARF, and here also, I amy add, and it's they that make it a pleasure to visit the sites. Just gotta take the bad with the good, I suppose. And thank you for welcoming me back, it's good to be back!
