Signal Generator

Post by bob1954 on Tue Jun 08, 2010 7:29 pm

I tried this before with no luck but what the heck.
I have an Approved Electronics Instrument Corp signal generator
Model # A 200 I can not find any numbers on the inside or outside other than the model number. I did find a large metal Electrolitic Condenesor with the number KS9401 and what seems to be a date 9-15-44 on it. It has one lead that goes to a tube and the can itself goes to ground. Oh and the variable cap has the number 7763513-4
I need a schematic or information on tube placement and voltages. I have tested and replaced the bad tubes but not sure they are in right. Two get warm and two do not. The tubes in it are (1) 6X5G7, Rectifier (1) 6SN7GT Twin Triode Amplifer, and (2) 6SH7GT Pentode RF amplifier. I tried Sam's with no luck, I hope someone can help
