Airline question

Hi Guys

Should the metal inside casing normally be Hot, or should to be neutral? I found if the inlet plug is plugged in one way then turned 180
it makes the casing neutral instead.

Iam pretty sure it has a polarity line cord and casing is neutral. someone else will let you know for sure.

Since it is alternating current, the radio doesn't care one way or the other. For safety reasons however, the line cord should be replaced with a polarized plug and the chassis should be neutral.
