Rc've Problem

OK, Folks. I have a 1940 Zenith 8a02 in working order. My problem is that it's sitting in the lobby of a 50kw am radio station, and all it picks is this station ! ... What do I need to shield ? ... tnx .... Gregg

Shielding isn't going to help. All that power sitting next to the radio is desensitizing the receiver and overpowering every other station. The only way that you will have a chance of picking up anything else is to unplug the transmitter or move your radio a few miles away.
