Well they will get warm ,but never so hot you cant kep your hand on it.I use a variac on mine and set the AC voltage to 110 volts .Helps the tranny run a bit cooler and it does reduce sensitivity a bit.Most sets wee built to run off 115 ac not 120 or higher.Sprman. : )
