Work coming along in shop

Post by Bill Cahill on Thu Nov 12, 2009 10:32 pm

Well, I've been slowly cleaning my shop room over the last year, and, am happy to report that I am making progress. Sweeping, dusting, throwing out trash, and, junk, and, generally moving, are helping.
I've now moved the workbench about two feet, and, re setting it up. Have a long way to go, but, I'm getting there.
I'll post pictures as I'm making more progress.

Well, it's a month later, Bill! It's kind of funny, my wife swears I have OCD. I keep the house and my shop spotless most of the time. I'll post a few pics next week. I try to do ONE radios at a time (doesn't always work out) but I straighten-up every night. I just HATE clutter and mess. I sweep, vacuum and wash the floor in my workshop every single week! If not for the pile of finished radios in my garage, waiting to be picked up, you'd swear I didn't really work. Very Happy

Not ready to post pics yet. Last week got little done in there.
May not this week, either. Hope to soon. It's definately better than it was.

Well at least you guys have a work shop. My brand spanking new wife has taken over mine! Oh well, at least she can't get angey when I spread things out on the kitchen counter and table.

Bill, I love the LEGEND under your name! That's great! For some reason, I went from a member and was downgraded to a "noob" and it tells me I only have 8 posts? Perhaps 80 posts, but not 8. Laughing
Vant, my wife tried the same thing when we moved to this house a few years ago. She does wood carvings, etc. We now "share" the workshop. A few jolts from the B+ that I hooked up to her scroll saw change that quickly. Twisted Evil
Just joking.

Timaay, I should say that she has put up with all my radios all over the house. I can always clean out the garage and build some sort of work bench there but that would mean a lot of work!
