frankenradio

i made this out of a 20s speaker cabinet and a plant A chassis.i posted it over on arf and thought some here might get a kick out of it.

Maybe a Frankenstein, but a pretty one! Question about the "dentil"-looking inlay at the bottom of the front panel. Is that actually a faux finish, or is it really wood inlay? If it's a faux finish, did you do any restoration on it?

Nice work in the grill. The speaker cloth matches the grill pattern. Very nice finished radio.

i haven't been here for awhile but to answer old ques,.the bottom has a maple walnut inlay and yes i restored the cabinet.butch
