Show Admin and moderators name at the top and a link to send Pm to.
Include a spell checker if possible.
I would like to Volunteer as a moderator.
Are you going to have a devoted by topic pictures section (or some such beast)? I see images can be inserted.
The only thing I can contribute is time and some small expertise.
Best wishes for this endeavor.

Re: Suggestions
I did get the picture to appear from my post, but it wouldn't work as I hadn't registered with servimg.com first.
After that I could upload my pic. They then provide the permission to upload the picture copy from my computer on my clipboard to the web picture address.
I then go back to the insert image icon at the top of the message screen. Which I then can paste to the insert image Icon.
This is great I think we will see a lot of visitors and members show up.
I will be watching to see.

Re: Suggestions
Hi,
How about a Boat Anchors section for the REAL Heavy Metal Gear, that I am somewhat partial to?

Also another idea, instead of a section for just Radios, why not break it up by say decades for wooden/bakelite table radios:
Early Wireless (Pre 1920)
1920-1929
1930-1939
WW2
1946-1949
etc etc etc, this would also be a way of gauging popularity of radio types by seeing how much activity there is, only a suggestion.

Moderator help
I would also like to volunteer to be a moderator. I think you have a fine beginning for a forum here.
I think we need to get more help from forum members on what the way to go should be for forum rules. It would help smooth things, I think. After all, a moderator, and, forum, is only as important as it's members..

Suggestions
Like Alan, I do feel you need a special section for moderators, and, Administration use.
One would be Moderator problem discussions, Where, you, and, us mods could discuss any problems coming on, and, how to handle it. A private suggestion area.
Secondly, a Problem Post section where you, or, us mods would move any trouble posts, including spam, where you could then deal with the problem as you see fit.
I feel these two secions should only be for you, and the mods to use so flame throwers won't drag the posts back out, and, cause trouble.
Let me clarify one thing.
At Alan's, though welcomed, it is not pushed, that the mods contact the poster as to what action was taken, and, why, and, give them a chance to respond. I think you should tell the mods that they definatedly need to keep in good contact with forum members so they know we are only here to help. We are not a secret police.
