Hello all *Very new* to antique radio in general

Post by jswebb82 on Wed Nov 21, 2018 3:25 am

Hello everyone,

My name is Jason. I am 36 years old, from Dallas, Tx. USA. I will have a ton of questions, as I am just getting into the repair game here. I have mechanical knowledge, but no experience at all with antique radios. A friend asked me to see if I could get his American Bosch Model 48 up and running again, and refurbish it. So, here I am with no working knowledge, and could really lean on the experiences and expertise in this forum. I look forward to hearing from you all, and thank you for allowing me in here!

Hi, Jason. Welcome to TRF forums..
We have a fine beginner's forum here on restoring tube radios, and, to start off, I would recommend Posting your questions there We have good people here willing to help, but, please be patient. It's a little slow here. Good luck, and,, again, welcome...
