Anyone know where I can find a schematic for a Philco 46-420, code 125 radio?

The closest i could find was one for a 46-420 code 121...it should be close enough to get you started. Here's the link to it on the Nostalgia Air website http://www.nostalgiaair.org/Resources/597/M0013597.htm I hope this help's. Good luck!

I've got the code 121 but still need the correct one. 121 uses 50L6 and 2 electrolytics. My 125 has a 50B5, 3 electrolytics and different wiring. Need to know what is correct to solve my 35Z5 filament blowing problems and see what the resistor values are.

There is a discussion on this on ARF: http://antiqueradios.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=172059

And as the above discussion mentioned, perhaps someone on the Philco Phorum could help? http://philcoradio.com/phorum/

Let us know what you find out.

Good Luck!

It appears that no schematic exists for the Philco 46-420, code 125 radio.

Likely problrms can be shorted filters, Shorted paper capacitors, and, watch the Philco wiring, prone to rubber rot. 50B5 is wired differently than 50C5, So, not interchange able.At times, they used a small 6volt pilot light, and, cause filament burnout, but, capacitors are the biggest trouble maker.
Hope this helps.

Radio recapped and all tubes changed twice. Pilot lamp starts out normal then continues to brighten until burn out in less than a minute. I have ordered a schematic and hope that it is the right code. Should help.
