jackson 642

Post by signalcorpsoperator on Mon Jun 01, 2009 10:45 pm

Hi folks-
I am purchasing a Jackson 642 multimeter from the 40's, and I wish to know more about it. I have only recently discovered that Jackson was, to the best of my knowledge, a somewhat large manufacturer of test gear in the 40's and 50's. Any manuals or schematics for this unit would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,......Tom

I did some web browsing to no avail. I didn't come up with anything. Have you thought of making a schematic your self and posting it? How about a picture of the meter?

Hi Cliff---
I have thought of doing that, and the more I think about it, the more likely it seems that I will have to do it ! It seems that the 642 is an unknown little meter, and information regarding it is slight to none. Time permitting, I may very well end up making a booklet or something on information regarding that thing. Thanks for the reply !!!
