Index to the Receiving Tube Manuals- Fourth Edition

Post by Dale H. Cook on Wed Apr 26, 2017 11:51 am

I have completed and posted the fourth edition of my Index to the Receiving Tube Manuals:

http://plymouthcolony.net/starcity/radios/pages/tubeindex.html

It includes tube manuals in my collection published trough 1960. The page linked to above contains links to online copies of all manuals indexed.

Nice work Dale. Thank you for publishing and updating it. I browsed thru' your website. Your shop may be "small", but it looks as if there's a substantial amount of work passing through it.

Thanks for the work. I see the Rider manuals and the Bietmans out there on the net. But I have never seen the RCA red books. I have one but I would love to have the rest in any format, paper or CD. But I have never seen them. Doe anyone know where you can download or buy them?

I bought my first Red Book at a local antique shop, and have bought others at meets and at online auctions. The only volume that I know of online is the abridged volume IV covering 1947-48 models, which can be electronically borrowed from (but not kept from) the Internet Archive:

They are not often found in used book stores - you might check BookFinder.com from time to time.
