WTB power transformer for Atwater Kent 37 or 38

Post by lhlyda on Sun Mar 05, 2017 5:26 pm

I deleted my other post, after a little research I found out the other xformers would work, but the whole power supply was in the same can. All I need is the xformer, to replace mine.mwould also consider the other can with the chokes and caps in it.

Thx

I don't know AK's, but if the parts from another model will work, here's one for sale and it "seems" pretty inexpensive.

Thx John,

I saw that one and another guy offered me one out of another 42. The voltages are the same and would work, but, the 42 has the transformer, chokes and caps all in the tar in one can. The 37 and 38 has the transformer in ine can and the chokes and caps in another

This is what my can looks like.

Thx

Ok, I'm glad you saw that too and had a chance at it before it disappeared! I have zero experience with AK's, so I wasn't sure if it would work.

cheers
