The answer is the same as you were given in another forum.
Use any photo editor to resize the picture (also sometimes called scaling)
I don't know the maximum file size here, but a safe size almost anywhere is 640x480 pixels.
After resizing, save the picture in the JPEG format, and you should be fine. ( look at the actual file size before attempting to post)

Sounds like you are having the same problem as I am.

OK--things are different here....This photo was scaled down automatically--to the point it is almost not useful
EDIT---I see now that you can display the larger image
My original was 1600 wide, and only displays at 800
My second try (now deleted) was 750 wide, and the SW upscaled it to 800

It all makes sense now....Smile

Note that there is an "Enlarge This Image" link to get the image to usable size. If you, like me, post images that are too large there will also be a link to enlarge it to full size.

I figured out how to resize the photo, the problem is, I think, next to "submit Query", in parenthesis it says 0Mb, so anything would be to large. That part I can't change, or can I. I suspect that would tell me how many megabytes of info (assuming that pixels are info) I could upload. I must be missing something here.

Using the icon for "hosting an image", it works
I could not attach a file using the dialog at the bottom---with "submit query"
