It looks like some soggy times for the southeastern seaboard areas.

That should make your newly planted grass grow, but will also make it so wet you don't have to mow! Very Happy

Looks like a blessing. I wish we could get some of that now in So. Cal. The grass is dying due to water restrictions.

The grass that has come up is starting to lay down. I sowed more on Saturday. The yard looks better so far. the last part of my trilogy will be to break up the high areas around where I took the soil for the first fill in and level it out so to be lower and more even. These roots all over stink.

It's strange here. My front yard is burning off, but the back yard is growing all over and is saturated in dew, even away from the areas I am watering.

I remember when I lived in Utah, when the grass would die off in the summer, there were folks who would go through the neighborhoods with tank trucks with spray guns and dye the stubble green for a nominal fee so it wouldn't look so stark.

75, we had great grass year round in Sandy Ut. Think Salt Lake City. Only problem we had was some type of fungus that would kill the roots. One needed to spray when it hit. The only other problem was it was not considered correct to mow on Sunday!

Here, we had the tail end of a tropical storm. It's headed south. Main storm missed us. I'm glad of that.

Me too, I was afraid of a washout. As it was, it only kept the planted areas watered. It was a torrent driving home last night, though.
