Pat Boone "Memories"

I got this album at an auction. I'm not the world's biggest Pat Boone fan, I'll have to admit. I found this album quite pleasant. On Dot DL-25748, in Stereo, circa 1962-ish, this is an album of standards, versus the typical Pat Boone "Betty bebop" fare. "Memories", "Where The Blue Of The Night Meets The Gold OF The Day", "Are You Lonesome Tonight", "Does Your Heart Beat For Me?", "Silver Moon" would be the gems on the album. The Ernie Freeman Orchestra provides background, with full chorus. This orchestra is a Billy Vaughn knockoff, with multi-part saxaphones. The main difference is there is no Billy Vaughn tenor sax lead. This album is a worthy save from the donation pile.
