1 Year later

Post by Rick in Arizona on Wed May 13, 2015 6:25 pm

Hello all,

Time sure does fly its been almost a year now and i have the cabinet restored and just got all replacement tubes in yesterday (probably don't need all of them) I have no way of checking them other than VOM.
Just figured better safe than sorry! while saving up the funds for tubes and capacitors, I have built a 1 Tube am transmitter (That was Fun) and acquired a Freshman Master piece 5 tube radio it looks in great shape!
Next step is to replace all capacitors and build a Dim-Bulb Tester. I do have one question if anyone can answer for me where to find a dial cord diagram? I have searched on and off for about three months! (Google was not so friendly)

Thank You In advance

What part of AZ are you in, Rick? We might be neighbors.

Tuscon! I love Tuscon I lived there when I was a kid in the late 60s to early 70s. I wish I still did. I think I lived on the street called Desert Steppes or something like that , I went to school at Steele Elementary I think . Warm and no snow to speak of,my kind of place.

Rick, I looked in my reference, and did not find that model number. It listed some chassis numbers. Maybe we could find it by chassis number?
