My father worked for Fisher Body during the Bill Mitchell period. He didn't think too much of the newer rounded styling, calling them "farts in foil bags".

The Brits have always had a lock on car body beauty & style. Us and the Germans had our days in the sun, but overall, English cars have been the most eye-pleasing.

A friend of ours in Yuma, AZ had a Rolls '37 Phantom III, just a rolling work of art.

Too bad their inner workings didn't measure up as well...

Just a thing of beauty although the color is a little dull. Very Happy Would look better in white, just kidding. I love the spares for the spark plugs and also one for the spark coil. No doubt stuff from Lucas? Neat friction shocks. Certainly a lovely restoration of a special car.

I do have to ask you Bill, would you drive that car on a 450 mile road trip? Laughing Delightful to view and nice to go to the movies if close. Not my choice to drive a long distance. Now with someone else driving, that rear seat area with a bar could make things easier!
