VGA to HDMI

Post by tuberadiogeek on Wed Feb 18, 2015 9:59 pm

I'm just curious if anyone knows if it is possible to adapt VGA to HDMI using an adapter or cable? Or would I have to get a converter? I understand VGA is analog and HDMI is digital. I also understand VGA is low quality resolution and may produce a low quality signal.

My guess would be while the picture wouldn't be as good, it should be convertible. I think you would need a converter, though. I don't think the cables are enough.

I bought a small box converter from eBay some time ago so I could put my older laptop on the big screen for movies.

Works OK, was less than $40.
