The Robins Are Staying Over This Year

Post by 75X11 on Thu Feb 05, 2015 8:43 pm

They're usually gone by early January, but they are out many evenings. I can't imagine how they find their things to eat. Mr. cat I believe, is taking the dirt for his skin parasites. The soil here has pyrite powder in it and he was glittering like Liberace's suspenders.

I do not remember Liberace having glittering suspenders. I'll bet you can come up with a video of that, can't you? Very Happy

Last weekend there were a few thousand red wing blackbirds that swept in and were working our yards at home for everything they could pick up. I didn't see much of the cranes this season. They usually gather and circle way up overhead my house.

Out in CA. right now and a lot of humming birds. We may have to set out a feeder. Gone from the cold in Sedona.

They like to have their pictures taken around a full feeder.
